The concept behind JACHS Manufacturing Co. stems from a 30-year tradition of fine craftsmanship in the apparel industry. An entrepreneur whose story epitomizes the classic American Dream, Hayati Banastey started the JACHS brand in 2008 with the idea that artistry and intricate attention to detail should make clothing effortless to wear. Born into a family in the fashion industry, Hayati’s pride in his craft and decades of experience are apparent in every piece of clothing in the JACHS collections.
Today, Hayati’s determined spirit thrives in our bustling SoHo workshop. Here, a team of expert craftsmen work tirelessly, designing fabrics from scratch and applying them to contemporary designs inspired by vintage American style. Our fabric-wash specialists are constantly experimenting with innovating techniques in our local wash house to turn out the most unique, comfortable, and wearable clothing. JACHS currently has three collections of vintage-inspired woven shirts and non-denim bottoms forged with the refined skill of an expert shirt-maker and creative eye of a modern fashion designer.
