In a world driven by speed, Jac+ Jack offers an alternative.

Originally established in 2004 as a knitwear business – with a strong focus on cashmere and luxurious yarns – the label has grown to encompass all aspects of the contemporary wardrobe for men and women with pieces that are made of the highest quality and with integrity.

Despite the trend for slow processes that defy fast fashion, Jac+ Jack is a decade-old business that is built on the very notion of authenticity, with attention to detail in its design, manufacturing and commercial processes. In this vein, it has come to be appreciated and relied upon as a business of quality.

In essence, Jac+ Jack is about feel, its designers and founders, Jacqueline ‘Jac’ Hunt and Lisa ‘Jack’ Dempsey, focus on creating effortless clothing and accessories. In doing so, the label works with like-minded suppliers, such as textile mills and spinners, to ensure each concept is resolved and the highest quality is achieved.

The designers place particular emphasis on the use of premium, natural fibres for the label’s collections, such as cashmere, Australian superfine merino wool, fine cotton, linen and silk, imbuing them with a sense of touch – both that of the maker and their wearer. The overarching style of the clothing is modern with a considered simplicity, with pieces that work effortlessly into a customer’s existing wardrobe.

Today, the brand maintains four standalone stores in Australia – two in Melbourne and two in Sydney – created in collaboration with award-winning interior architect George Livissianis, as well as an online store jacandjack.com. Jac+ Jack has 14 retail concepts in Australia’s premier department store David Jones and the label is stocked in over 60 select stores across Australia and New Zealand.
