RÅH stands for origin, siren of the woods, raw material and genuineness. We care about good quality and our design makes the most out of Scandinavian culture and history, inspired by details and patterns from Lapland and the Sami people.

RÅH AS IN “SIREN OF THE WOODS”

The siren of the woods has many names, such as sprite, woods-woman or supernatural being. The siren of the woods was a very feminine and seductive supernatural being, who was the forest’s special sprite. In Southern Sweden, she was thought to be hollow in the back, while in Northern Sweden, she was believed to have a tail. The siren of the woods ruled over the forest and its beast. She was sometimes friendly, and sometimes an evil being. If you stayed on good terms with her, then you could count on good fortune during the hunt. (From Fairies and other beings in Nordic mythology)

SWEDISH DESIGN

The whole RÅH collection is designed and developed in Sweden. Timeless design and colours, easy to match and wear, for any occasion. As a customer you recognize and know that you receive quality and a personal style when you buy a RÅH product. The fit is enormously important and all materials are chosen with care for appearance and function. The material and silhouette of the garment are expressive and give a feminine feeling. With small fine details and solutions we create excitement and give you the freedom to choose how you would like to use your clothes. Our symbols, the snowflake, the reindeer and the cloudberry are inspired from Lapland and the Sami culture.
