We are situated in The heart of London's Notting Hill, very close to the famous Portobello market ( still the best place to buy vintage in London.)

Our store is on 3 levels, the ground floor and upper level are put together by our sister company Couverture.

Strictly independent we do not carry any clothing that has been bought up and sold out. All of our suppliers are like us. Fighting hard the monsters of the corporation, standing up for quality and better days.

In Spring 2008 Couverture relocated from its original site in Chelsea to the heart of Notting Hill. It re-opened as the concept store "Couverture & The Garbstore". Launching to critical acclaim with The Times voting it Cult Shop in 2008, the store is now firmly established as one of London's premier shopping destinations.

The ground and galleried first floors are dedicated to the Couverture collections and include womenswear and accessories, children's and baby-wear, toys, jewelry, home accessories, furniture and covetable vintage finds.

The mix of International and European fashion labels result in languid dressing from Humanoid, signature boyfriend shirting from Steven Alan and innovative tailoring from Rachel Comey. Cool modern styling for children can be found in collections by Album di Famiglia and Simple Kids whilst unique home accessories include painstakingly embroidered heart shaped cushions from Africa and one-off ceramic sculptures by cult French artist Nathalie Lete.
