Trine Vestergaard creates long lasting essential pieces of luxury knitwear. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University, UK, in 1999 Trine Vestergaard established her own knitwear label. She worked for a design studio in London selling designs to Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein amongst others, before she returned to Denmark. For nearly 15 years Trine Vestergaard’s knitwear collections have been selling to top stores in Denmark and Europe and are an established part of the Danish fashion industry where she has been working as Head of Design for commercial companies.
Beautifully designed cardigans, fine knitted jumpers and heavier sweaters with technical details epitomises Trine Vestergaard knitwear collections. In recent seasons Trine has included flattering chinos and tailored wool pants to create a complete look. Her signature style comes from an on-going passion for well-made garments, traditional knitting techniques, a special eye for colour and colour combination, always brought into a contemporary context. Each collection is a continuation from the previous season focusing on quality and fit and always creating an essential long lasting yet modern look.
Trine Vestergaard knitwear is produced in Europe from a Danish owned factory using only the most exclusive Italian wool, cashmere and soft cotton. All trimmings are carefully sourced from reputable European suppliers.
