Every Wednesday morning, we release a new collection of products. Each collection is unique, designed in San Francisco, limited in number and manufactured in California. Its an ambitious undertaking. That we know. Things didn't quite start out like this though....
In March of 2008, we began everything in our apartment at the corner of Taylor & Clay Streets in San Francisco. The three of us set out to create the best custom shirt possible. We partnered with a family business that has been manufacturing custom shirts in the U.S. for over 85 years. Working closely with the factory and our customers, we trimmed fits and modernized style details to create a more versatile shirt.
Two years later, we used the hundreds of measurements on file to perfect our first collection of button up shirts. People loved them. We opened a number of pop-up shops all over the city until we settled into our space on Valencia Street in the Mission District.
We are relentlessly focused on fit as well as construction and will continue to slowly develop new offerings, working piece by piece to modernize classic staples that are both rugged and refined.
