CALLA ®
Calla Haynes was born in Toronto, and has been living in Paris for the past 10 years. After attending Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris, she worked with Olivier Theyskens at Rochas and Nina Ricci where she honed her textile and print design skills.
The collection is based on Haynes’ idea of “relaxed luxury” - a brand that is unique and crafted, while at the same time modern and easy to wear. Her strong print designs are the foundation of each collection.
Samsung, April 77, Honest By, and 3 Suisses have all called on Calla for collaborations. She continues to consult and design textiles for fashion brands around the world.
Haynes was a finalist for the prestigious ANDAM award, France’s largest prize for young fashion designers, in 2010, 2011, and 2012. She was also a finalist for the Dorchester Fashion Prize in 2012.
